Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
At WarmiDev we take care of your data. This policy explains what personal information we process when you visit this site or use the bootcamp platform (the syllabus, Warmix and your certificate), why we use it and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
WarmiDev is an open programming bootcamp for women, run by the WarmiDev team. We are responsible for processing the data described here.
What data we collect
Your account data. To use the platform you create an account or sign in, for example with Google or GitHub. We receive your name, your email address, your profile picture and an account identifier.
Google data. If you sign in with Google, we only request the basic identification scopes (“openid”, “email” and “profile”): your name, your email and your profile picture. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other data in your Google account.
Your questions to Warmix. When Warmix, our assistant, is available, the text of each question and your first name are sent to the Warmix service to generate the answer. The conversation history is stored only in your browser and is deleted when you sign out.
Preferences in your browser. The theme you choose (light, dark or system) is stored in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.
Technical data. Like any website, our server and our sign-in provider may log technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the date and time, to keep the service secure and running.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools. The only cookies on the site are the ones sign-in needs.
How we use your data
- To create and maintain your account, and to identify you when you sign in.
- To show your name and picture inside the platform.
- To generate your certificate with your name.
- To answer your questions to Warmix.
- To protect the platform against unauthorized access and abuse.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not share it so that other companies can advertise to you.
Use of Google information
WarmiDev’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google name, email and picture only to create your account and identify you on WarmiDev. We do not use them for advertising or transfer them to third parties, except to the provider that runs sign-in.
Who we share your data with
We work with providers that process data on our behalf and only to provide the service:
- Clerk, which manages accounts and sign-in. Its servers are in the United States, so your account data is transferred to that country. You can read its privacy policy.
- Google and GitHub, when you choose to sign in with them. Each one is governed by its own privacy policy.
- The Warmix service, which receives your questions to generate the answers.
We may also disclose data if a law or a competent authority requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we erase your personal data, except what the law requires us to keep. The Warmix history and your preferences stay in your browser until you sign out or clear them.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it or object to its processing (the ARCO rights recognized by Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 29733). You can update your name, email and picture from “My profile”. For any other request, write to the email in the “Contact” section. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can go to Peru’s National Authority for Personal Data Protection.
Minors
If you are under 14, you need permission from your mother, father or guardian to create an account.
Security
The site always runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and sign-in is handled by a specialized provider. We apply reasonable measures to protect your data, although no system is completely infallible.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, let you know on the platform.
Contact
If you have questions about this document or want to exercise your rights over your data, write to us at kevinflorespacheco01@gmail.com.
